Writing is my passion.  I've written poetry since age 19 and have been published by The Library of Congress, The Poetry Guild and Random House.  At one time I earned a living as a TV/Radio ad copywriter.  I am currently working outside the field, utilizing my accounting skills  However, it is my dream to once again become a full time writer.  As a single mom of a 19 year old son, his development and guidance stage of my life (hopefully!) sucessfully imprinted in his being, I now have some time to devote to my dream.  I hope to touch your lives with my humor, experience, knowledge and creativity!

My posts will cover the gamut of my ever-active mind. You'll find poetry, short stories, tips on living green, gardening and whatever else strikes me!  I hope you find them entertaining, informative, thought provoking and emotion sparking, no matter what that emotion may be....

BTW, the man in the picture is my brother, my kindred spirit, who is also an artist, utilizing more media than my written word.  He is far more talented than I and I love him with all my heart.  Please email me and I will put you in touch with his website.  He's phenominally talented and has a very deep, old soul!

My brother and I, and our sister, are part Cherokee.  It's been very pronounced to me, through my creative endeavors, that my brother and I are driven by the Cherokee spirit.  Although my creativity is expressed through writing, his encompasses all the areas of passion.  The fact that I'm compelled to bring his art into my written expression (and it's the perfect complement!),  is confirmation that the Spirit is what moves us!

Keep a smile in your heart and never, ever let the music fade!

P.S.  I thought it would go unsaid that all my posts are copyrighted, however, I've seen most other hubbers post the disclaimer, so I must protect myself.  Permission must be obtained by this author to use any part of my writings and photos/pictures.  Failure to do so, is an infringement.  Please respect what is mine, as I respect what belongs to you!
